A message from Girlguiding Blairgowrie

Locally, Guiding consists of weekly term time meetings where girls learn new life skills, where they play games, do craftwork, learn about teamwork and communication and hone their leadership skills if they choose to.  They are encouraged from an early age to investigate areas such as engineering, science, personal skills, technology, being heard, money sense, and many more, all important areas for growth.  Opportunities to experience time away from their families, either locally or around the world, to be as independent as their maturity permits, are offered within each age group, from 1 night to several weeks.  And most of all our aim is to be a  happy, fun, safe space for girls of all ages to be themselves.  Our bench has the trefoils of each of our groups painted on it.
