Keathbank Bridge Repairs
Update on repairs to Keathbank Bridge.
You may be aware the bridge was struck by debris which resulted in damage to the steelwork on the North Pier, following this damage, Community Greenspace have been working with engineers to come up with an appropriate repair.
PKC Greenspace advise contractors are due to start the bridge repair from late November 24 and the contractor anticipates this to be completed by Christmas. This will be subject to weather, permissions and any potential re-designs required through the process.
During the works, the contractor Geo-Structural Ltd will be securing access to the bridge to prevent unauthorised access while the works take place. This will result in a diversion via Balmoral Road, Boat Brae and then onto the Riverside via Lower Mill Street and in reverse from Oakbank Mill.
