The revamp of Discover Blairgowrie was voiced towards the end of 2017, the first plan and proposal was produced in March 2018 but it unfortunately took until late January 2020 for work to start. As it was coming together and preparing to launch, Coronavirus hit the UK and meant a last minute switch in direction to meet the impending pandemic. Sections of the promotional site were sidelined and the focus moved to setting up a focal point for information to be passed on.
The site launched on Saturday 21st March, 5 years after the first version which launched to coincide with the Blairgowrie & Rattray STV Advert.
It will be developed over the coming weeks and months in preparation for getting back to some sort of normality.
