Overview
Handbell ringers

Blairgowrie Bells are a team of handbell ringers who play a varied selection of music on a 2-octave set of bells at rallies, concerts, and church services.

We are also happy to perform for groups, clubs, care homes and hospitals.

We meet in St. Catharines' Church Hall, George Street, Blairgowrie on Friday mornings from 09.45 to 12.00

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2025 with a Coffee Morning in St. Catharines where, in between the coffee and homemade cakes, we performed some of our favourite tunes and encouraged visitors to have a go at ringing bells. There were tunes for both those who could read music and those who couldn't. It was a morning of fun and music enjoyed by all and we are hopeful that a few will return to join us on a permanent basis.

Our leader, Mary McGregor is seen here presenting a cheque for £150 to Rhona Christie from the local branch of Riding for the Disabled. The money was donated by Tesco customers before Christmas when the Blair Bells played Christmas music in store.
