PKC Climate Commission
Date: Thursday 30 June
What should PKC's priorities be on climate action?
PKC has set up a Climate Commission of people and organisations from public, private and civic sectors to work collaboratively to help drive, guide, support and monitor the climate action of both the Council and the wider community. (www.pkcclimateaction.co.uk/climate-commission).
The first meeting of this group will be held in the week beginning July 4th and part of the agenda will be to discuss priority themes for the Commission to focus on in future meetings. PKC's action plans are split across several themes listed in the survey below. (Please see Appendix D for detail of the plans - (www.pkcclimateaction.co.uk/climate-change-strategy-and-action-plan).
Nathan Jamieson of the Blairgowrie and Rattray Climate Cafe is a member of the Commission and would like to hear from as many people as possible their views on what PKC should be prioritising. He would love to hear any other comments. He can be contacted through: info@blairclimatecafe.org.uk or our FB page: Climate Cafe Blair
Nathan is also carrying out a small survey: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GBWL8JV
Please share with friends, colleagues or networks in Perth and Kinross.
