Marlee Quarry – Planning Application
Date: Sunday 23 January
Yellow shading is the existing Quarry. The Orange shaded areas shows the location of the new Quarry and the Purple shaded area shows the size of the proposed quarry over the Blairgowrie town centre for reference. As you may or may not be aware, there is a proposal with Perth & Kinross Council asking for planning permission to extend the open-cast quarry operations at Marlee, to the east of Palace Road, for the next 17 years, excavating 75,000 tons of material each year.
