Welcome to Let’s Dance Blairgowrie!

We are a small, independent and most importantly, fun dance school. We are based in Blairgowrie in Perthshire but hold classes all over the area. Our classes range from Street classes for children 2 and up, to adult Ballet classes, to mum and baby Jelly Babies so there really is something for everyone. To find out more, have a little explore of our site and get involved!

My name is Jenni and I grew up in Hampshire, England. I began dancing at the age of 3, taking up classical Ballet, Tap and Modern theatre. I trained at the Suzanne School of Dancing until the age of 18, progressing through my RAD and ISTD exams and gaining experience and expertise working at the dance school for 4 years.

At the age of 18 I moved to work abroad, and after meeting my husband, settled in Dundee and got married when I was 20. Whilst living in Dundee I worked and trained with Leisure and Culture Dundee teaching Street Dance at Funky Feet and Urban Moves classes with both pre-school and school-aged children. I continued my professional development through a variety of courses and workshops, and enjoyed teaching here for several years. I left to have my daughter, Eve in 2013, followed by my son Innes in 2015. The family moved to Blairgowrie where I was keen to teach again. I joined Let’s Dance in November 2015 and have since taken over the business. Since then I have been working hard to grow and develop our small school and help children of all ages to experience the joy of dancing. We put on our first annual show in the Easter of 2016, which has been followed by many more exciting opportunities, such as performing at Gala Rocks and Braemar Day. My aim is to make our dance classes fun and exciting whilst also helping my students to develop their skills to become the best dancers they can be.
